Balance the single replacement chemical reaction.
OLEGan [10]

Answer:

Option c. 2Kl + Cl2 —> 2KCl + l2

Explanation:

A balanced equation must have the same number of atoms on the reactants side and the products side. This do the fact of the postulation by the mass conservation principle that says: Atoms can neither be broken nor destroyed but can be arranged. The atoms on the left side for each element are equal. Thus, C presents a balanced equation.

A neutral isotope has 49 neutrons and 36 electrons. Identify the element symbol of this isotope and determine the mass number an
Marta_Voda [28]

Explanation:

In an atom , the relation between the subatomic particles of the atom are given as follows -

For a neutral atom ,

Atomic number = number of protons = number of electrons ,

Mass number = number of protons + number of neutrons,

Hence , from the given information of the question,

number of neutrons = 49 ,

number of electrons = 36 ,

Hence , by using the above relation,

Atomic number = 36

number of protons = 36

Since ,

Mass number = number of protons + number of neutrons

Mass number = 36 + 49 = 85 .

By taking the help of periodic table , as atomic number = 36 ,

The elements is Krypton ( Kr )

Kr ⁸⁵₃₆

How are physical and<br>chemical changes different?
astra-53 [7]
Physical changes happen when you do/mix something that can be reversed. Best example is ripping a paper, you can just tape it back together so it is just an observable thing that changes, which is a physical change. Chemical changes happen when you mix things and they make a new substance and can’t be reversed. The best example of this is the Statue of Liberty, which changed in color due to the chemical change between the oxygen and copper, which created a new substance (rust) which made it green instead of copper.
Sorry for the long answer but hope this helps!
