Answer:

71.49134 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Side a = 112

Side b = 99

Side c = 71.49134

Angle ∠A = 80.37° = 80°22'11" = 1.40272 rad

Angle ∠B = 60.63° = 60°37'49" = 1.0582 rad

Angle ∠C = 39° = 0.68068 rad

You can use sine to solve this exercise:
The sine law indicates that in any given triangle sin(angle)=opposite side/largest side
This way sin(39º)=x/112
Now you solve for x
X=112sin(39º)
X=70.5 approx.

Masja [62]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

In option c, the first block is divided into 3 pieces where 2 parts are shaded whereas the second block is divided into 6 pieces where 3 parts are shaded

For both to be equivalent, both of them should be the same

2/3 = x/6

x = 4

4 pieces should be shaded in in the second block to be equal to the first one, in the diagram only 3 parts are shaded thus the answer is c

If varies directly with y and x = 6 m when y = 15, find x when y = 20
GuDViN [60]

If x varies directly with y, then :

●  Increase in x results in increase of y

●  Decrease in x results in decrease of y

●  It is represented by : x ∝ y

\mathsf{\bigstar\;\;If\;x\;varies\;directly\;with\;y\;then : \large\boxed{\mathsf{\dfrac{x_1}{x_2} = \dfrac{y_1}{y_2}}}}

Here : x₁ = 6 and y₁ = 15 and x₂ = x₂ and y₂ = 20

Substituting the values we get :

\mathsf{\implies \dfrac{6}{x_2} = \dfrac{15}{20}}

\mathsf{\implies x_2 = \dfrac{20 \times 6}{15}}

\mathsf{\implies x_2 = 8}

<u>Answer</u> : x = 8 when y = 20
