Answer with Step-by-step explanation:

If the mid point of (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is (a,b)

Then, a=\dfrac{x1+x2}{2}\ and\ b=\dfrac{y1+y2}{2}

Here we are given that M is a mid point of P and let Q be another end point

i.e. (a,b)=(8,2)and (x1,y1)=(5,6)

We have to find (x2,y2)

8=\dfrac{5+x2}{2}\ and\ 2=\dfrac{6+y2}{2}

16=5+x2  and  4=6+y2

x2=16-5  and y2=4-6

x2=11  and  y2= -2

Hence, coordinate of other mid point is:

(11,-2)

Graph the function f(x) = - squared x + 2
MariettaO [177]

One of the ways to graph this is to use plug in a few x-values and get an idea of the shape. Since the x values keep getting squared, there is an exponential increase on either side of the y-axis. You can see this by plugging in a few values:

When

x=0,f(x)=0

x=1,f(x)=1^2=1

x=2,f(x)=2^2=4

x=3,f(x)=3^2=9

x=4,f(x)=4^2=16

The same holds true for negative x-values to the left of the y-axis since a negative value squared is positive. For example,

x=−1,f(x)=(−1)2=1*−1=1

x=2,f(x)=(−2)2=−2*−2=4

The graph of f(x)=x^2 is called a "Parabola." It looks like this:

Elenna [48]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

lope is (13000-15000)/(5-3)=-2000/2=-1000

point slope formula: y-y1=m(x-x1), m slope and (x1,y1) a point

y-15000=-1000(x-3)

y-15000=-1000x+3000

y=-1000x+18000

when x=$3.50

y=-3500+18000=14,500 noodles predicted to be sold.
