Needs and emotions. Hitler rose to power because the Germans were very poor and in need of a saviour. Hitler managed to come in right place right time and promise jobs to the jobless, money to the struggling and prosperity for Germany as a whole. He captivated people with his incredible tactics of delivering speeches and won them over by appealing to their emotions.

Ranching also increased in production with land opening up in the southwest and railroads connecting ranching areas to major meatpacking cities, like Chicago.
