Needs and emotions. Hitler rose to power because the Germans were very poor and in need of a saviour. Hitler managed to come in right place right time and promise jobs to the jobless, money to the struggling and prosperity for Germany as a whole. He captivated people with his incredible tactics of delivering speeches and won them over by appealing to their emotions.
