The correct option is D.
The big bang theory is the scientific theory that explains how the universe came to exist. The theory explains how the universe expanded due to high temperature and density. Scientists believed that the first nuclei were formed few minutes after the bing bang occurred via a process called bing bang nucloesynthesis. During this process helium and hydrogen were formed and the amount of helium found correspond to the amount predicted by scientists.

The x-coordinates of two objects moving along the x-axis are given as a function of time (t). x1= (4m/s)t x2= -(161m) + (48m/s)t
Kitty [74]
The two displacement functions are
x₁ = 4t
x₂ = -161 + 48t - 4t²
where
x₁, x₂ are in meters
t is time, s

The distance between the two objects is
x = x₁ - x₂
   =  4t + 161 - 48t + 4t²
x = 4t² - 44t + 161

Write this equation in the standard form for a parabola.
x = 4[t² - 11t] + 161
  = 4[ (t - 5.5)² - 5.5² ] + 161
 x = 4(t-5)² + 40

Ths is a parabola that faces up and has its vertex (lowest point) at (5, 40).
Therefore the closest approach of the two objects is 40 m.
The graph of x versus t confirms the result.

Answer: The distance of the closest approach is 40 m.

A constant force of 10 N is applied to an object. The object accelerates at a constant rate of 4 m/s2. What is the mass of the o
tatuchka [14]

Answer:

I think it is 2.5 kg.

Explanation:

I can say you do:

Fnet = m * a

So, you want to find mass:

m = Fnet / a

So, the answer you will receive is 2.5

A body of mass 25kg, moving at 3 ms per second on a rough horizontal floor brought to rest after sliding through a distance of 2
erastova [34]
You have to solve this by using the equations of motion:
u=3
v=0
s=2.5
a=?
v^2=u^2+2as
0=9+5s
Giving a=-1.8m/s^2

Then using the equation:
F=ma
F is the frictional force as there is no other force acting and its negative as its in the opposite direction to the direction of motion.

-F=25(-1.8)
F=45N

Then use the formula:
F=uR
Where u is the coefficient of friction, R is the normal force and F is the frictional force.

45=u(25g)
45=u(25*10)

Therefore, the coefficient of friction is 0.18

Hope that helps
