Help me please! I put this under math because science questions rarely get answered! I'll give brainliest and everything! Just p

lease help!
1. We are on an asteroid with thrusters pointed in 4 directions; Go Left, GO Right, Go Up, and Go Down. We start at coordinate (3,3). We simultaneously fire all 4 thrusters. Go Left 3N, Go Right 4N, Go Up 2N, and Go Down 5N.

Which 2 thrusters at what force could we have fired and achieved the same result?

A. Right 3N and down 1N
B. Up 1N and right 3N
C. Right 1N and down 3N
D. Down 4N and up 2N

2. We have found a treasure map and 6 vectors to follow from the starting point to find the treasure. Each vector is written on a different piece of paper and they have been shuffled, mixed up. We don’t know which vector to follow first, then second and so on.

We are to start at the base of the big oak tree located at (4,4). The vectors are: North 4N, East 4N,
South 2N, West 2N, West 3N, South 1N.

We could have arrived at the same spot with a net force vector starting at (4,4) and ending at

A. (3,4)
B. (3,5)
C. (3,2)
D. (5,3)

3. We are back on our asteroid with the 4 Newton Thrusters: Go Right, Go Left, Go Up, and Go Down.

We want to go straight down which would only require the Go Down thruster. But 2 of the thrusters are about to fire at the same time. The Go Left 6N thruster and the Go down 1N thruster both fire.

In order for our net force to be straight down, Which single thruster at what Newton force should also be fired (along with the Go Left 6N thruster and the Go down 1N thruster).

A. Go Right 6N
B. Go Right 7N
C. Go Right 12N
D. Go down 12N

4. Use the data in Table 1 to answer the following 3 questions.

In what direction will an object move if we simultaneously apply force vectors 1 & 3?

A. South
B. North
C. North East
D. North West

5. In what direction will an object move if we simultaneously apply force vectors 2 & 4?

A. West
B. East
C. South East
D. South West

6. In what direction will an object move if we simultaneously apply force vectors 1 & 2?

A. Northeast
B. Southeast
C. Northwest
D. Southwest

The ratio of pizza to nachos sold during A-lunch is 4 to 3. There were 48 nachos sold. What is the number of pizzas sold during
polet [3.4K]

Answer:

The number of pizzas sold during A- lunch is 64

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us solve the question using the ratio method

∵ The ratio of pizza to nachos sold during A-lunch is 4 to 3

∵ There were 48 nachos sold

→ By using the ratio method

→ Pizza  :  Nachos

→  4        :   3

→  x        :  48

→ use the cross multiplication

∵ x × 3 = 4 × 48

∴ 3x = 192

→ Divide both sides by 3

∵ \frac{3x}{3} = \frac{192}{3}

∴ x = 64

∴ The number of pizzas sold during A- lunch is 64

kirza4 [7]

Answer:

x = 90°

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the identity

cos²x = 1 - sin²x

Given

cos²x - sin x + 1 = 0

1 - sin²x - sin x + 1 = 0

- sin²x - sin x + 2 = 0 ← quadratic equation in sin x ( multiply through by - 1 )

sin²x + sin x - 2 = 0 ← in standard form

(sinx + 2)(sinx - 1) = 0 ← in factored form

Equate each factor to zero and solve for x

sinx + 2 = 0 ⇒ sinx = - 2 ← has no solution as - 1 ≤ x ≤ 1

sinx - 1 = 0 ⇒ sinx = 1 ⇒ x = 90°

solution is x = 90°
