According to Newton`s third law, when you push against the ceiling with a force of 200 N, ceiling will also apply 200 N  normal force downward on you.

As your weight is also downward force.

Therefore, when you raise your arms and push against the ceiling with a force of 200 N, the total downward force is equal to the sum of these two forces.

That is

F_{total} =weight \ of\ you + normal\ force\ downward\ on\ you\\\\ F_{total} = 80\kg\times 9.8\ m/s^2 + 200\ N=984\ N

Thus, from Newton`s third law, 984 N is upward force exert on you by floor.

Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

To solve this problem we will apply the principles of energy conservation. On the one hand we have that the work done by the non-conservative force is equivalent to -30J while the work done by the conservative force is 50J.

This leads to the direct conclusion that the resulting energy is 20J.

The conservative force is linked to the movement caused by the sum of the two energies, therefore there is an increase in kinetic energy. The decrease in the mechanical energy of the system is directly due to the loss given by the non-conservative force, therefore there is a decrease in mechanical energy.

Therefore the correct answer is A. Kintetic energy increases and mechanical energy decreases.

Natalka [10]

Answer:

a) Tc = 750 [N]  ;b) See the explanation below.

Explanation:

To solve this problem, we first need a graphical explanation of this, as well as knowing the corresponding questions. Therefore, a search was carried out in google, in the attached image we will find a graphical description of the problem.

b)

The solution of this type of problem corresponds to the use of Newton's third law, applying static which tells us that the sum of the forces in a system in equilibrium without movement must be equal to zero.

a)

In this way we can find by means of a sum of forces on the y axis equal to zero:

- 850 - 450 + 550 + Tc = 0

Tc = 750 [N]
