How did the iran hostage crisis affect american opinion of president carter?
madreJ [45]

The Iran hostage crisis affected negatively the American opinion of President Carter to the point that it probably cost him his second term as President of the United States. On November 4th, 1979, a group of Iranian students stormed the U.S Embassy in Teheran taking more than 60 Americans hostages. This action was a direct result of President Carter's decision of allowing the deposed Shah the possibility of getting medical treatment in the United States.

The students set their hostages free on April of 1981, 444 days after the crisis began and just hours before new elected President Reagan delivered his inaugural address.

Who is elligible for a givernment bursary teaching
valkas [14]

Generous, tax-free funding is available to the best graduates training in a range of subjects. You could get a £26,000 bursary or be awarded a prestigious scholarship – which provides additional support and benefits throughout your training year. If you teach maths, you could get £30,000 – a £20,000 tax-free bursary while you train and a further £10,000 after tax once in teaching. With or without a bursary or scholarship, you could receive a tuition fee loan and maintenance loan to help fund your teacher training year. Alternatively, you could earn a salary while you train.

You can use the student finance calculator to estimate student loans and extra funding that may be available, for instance Parents’ Learning Allowance, Childcare Grants or Child Tax Credits. If you’re on a salaried course, you can estimate any in-work benefits by using the calculators on GOV.UK. The calculator is for trainees intending to train in 2017/18 – you can still use this to get an estimate of your entitlement for 2018/19. An updated version will be released soon.

Japan becoming an imperial power by establishing footholds in Taiwan and Korea.

Answer: Option 3.

Explanation:

Japan became an imperial power in the nineteenth century. The major reason and the factor of Japan becoming an imperial power was the war of the Sino-Japan. The war showed the power of Japan and increased it's influence because of which it could become an imperial power.

The treaty of Portsmouth, which led to the end of the Sino-Japan war, recognized Japan as a power. Because of this it had gained a territorial foothold in Manchuria. By 1910, it was able to officially annex Korea also which it had controlled de facto since the year 1905.
