Answer:

13.4

Step-by-step explanation:

(9x+2) 119  to solve for x you need to isolate it so subtract 119 so the equation would look like this  (9x+2) = -119. Once you do that you are going to subtract 2 from both sides of the equation (9x)= -121. And now you divide by 9 and you have your answer x= 13.4.

svetlana [45]

Answer:

cos 45 degree = A/H

cos 45 degree =  2 square root 2 / x

x = 2 square root 2 / cos 45 degree

x = 4

Sin 45 degree = O/H

Sin 45 degree = y/ 4

4 x Sin 45 degree = y

y = 2.83

or

we could use tan

tan 45 degree = O/A

tan 45 degree = y / 2 square root 2

2 square root 2 x tan 45 degree = y

y = 2.83

i hope this would elp a little bit.

4/5 ÷ 7/6 + 2/7 ∙2 1/5
Aleksandr [31]
<h2>The value of \dfrac{4}{5} ÷ \dfrac{7}{6} + \dfrac{2}{7}.2\dfrac{1}{5} =\dfrac{8}{7}</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

We have,

\dfrac{4}{5} ÷ \dfrac{7}{6} + \dfrac{2}{7}.2\dfrac{1}{5}

To find, the value of \dfrac{4}{5} ÷ \dfrac{7}{6} + \dfrac{2}{7}.2\dfrac{1}{5} = ?

∴ \dfrac{4}{5} ÷ \dfrac{7}{6} + \dfrac{2}{7}.2\dfrac{1}{5}

=\dfrac{4}{5}\times \dfrac{6}{7} +\dfrac{2}{7}.\dfrac{8}{5}

=\dfrac{24}{35} +\dfrac{16}{35}

Taking LCM of denominator, we get

=\dfrac{24+16}{35}

=\dfrac{40}{35}

Dividing numerator and denominator by 5, we get

=\dfrac{8}{7}

∴ The value of \dfrac{4}{5} ÷ \dfrac{7}{6} + \dfrac{2}{7}.2\dfrac{1}{5} =\dfrac{8}{7}

Hence, the value of \dfrac{4}{5} ÷ \dfrac{7}{6} + \dfrac{2}{7}.2\dfrac{1}{5} is equal to \dfrac{8}{7} .

What is the slope of the line represented by the equation y = 6x - 12?
Anuta_ua [19.1K]
There are different types of equations of lines.
There are these three main forms, but I'll focus on just 2:

Slope-Intercept Form:
y = mx + b

Where,
"m" = slope
"b" = y-intercept

Point-Slope Form:
y - y1 = m(x - x1)

Where,
"m" = slope
"y1" = A y point on the graph
"x1" = A x point on the graph that correlates with the y value.

y = 6x - 12

Is in the same form of Slope-Intercept:

So,

y = 6x - 12

m = 6
b = -12

So our slope is,
6

Keep in mind if it was a fraction (Example: 6/5, then the slope is 6/5) the slope will be the entire fraction.

Also remember slope is the RISE over the RUN meaning it is the y value over the x value. So in this case we would go UP 6 and right 1 (because 6 is understood as 6/1).

Solve for x given that CE=36. Show your work.
inna [77]

Answer:

<u>The answer for this equation is x = 7</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Solve for x given that CE=36

9 + 3x + 6 = 36

3x + 15 = 36

3x = 36 - 15  (Putting x on the left side and all the numeric values on the right)

3x = 21

<u>x = 7 (Dividing by 3 at both sides)</u>

2. Proof of replacing x by 7

9 + 3 (7) + 6 = 36

9 + 21 + 6 = 36

<u>36 = 36</u>

<u>It proves that x = 7 is correct</u>
