Answer:

A cation is an atom that has more number of protons than electrons electrons; while an Anion is an atom that has more number of electrons than protons.

Explanation:

A cation is an atom or a molecule which is positively charged, i.e. has more number of protons than electrons, and is attracted to the cathode (negative electrode) during electrolysis

An anion is an atom or a molecule which is negatively charged, i.e. has more number of electrons than protons and is attracted to the anode (positive electrode) in electrolysis.

Because of these characteristic, of being negatively and positively charged, anions and cations usually form bonds. These are known as ionic bonds and exist due to the mutual attraction of oppositely charged ions.

Which organelle serves as temporary storage of melanin or glycogen?
OLga [1]

Answer: Inclusions or inclusion structures serve as temporary storage of molecules like glycogen and melanin.

Inclusion structures are the aggregates formed of specific molecule types.

The inclusion bodies serve the purpose of temporary storage for molecules such as proteins, lipids, glycogen and melanin. One of the major differences between cell organelle and cell inclusion is that organelles are the living components or subcomponents which have particular functions but cell inclusions are non-living compounds or by products of metabolism process present in the cytoplasm.

Lisa [10]

Stomata close when the vacuoles in the guard cells fill with water and the cells become turgid. The environmental stimulus that causes this response is the change from light to dark. During the day, heat from the sun causes evaporation in the leaves, which leads to water loss from the leaves, by way of the stomata, in a process known as transpiration. At night, the absence of the sun's heat slows the rate of evaporation, causing the vacuoles in the guard cells to fill with water by way of osmosis, causing the guard cells to become turgid and seal off the stomata.

What’s the width and height of the Epcot ball
AVprozaik [17]
The Epcot ball is a 165-ft diameter geodesic sphere that is elevated above the ground to stand 180 feet tall. Each face of the polyhedron is divided into three isosceles triangles to form each point. In theory, there are 11,520 total isosceles triangles forming 3840 points. Some of those triangles are partially or fully nonexistent due to supports and doors; there are actually only 11,324 silvered facets, with 954 partial or full flat triangular panels.
