When a candidate responds well to a PAR-Q+ questions, the candidate is then advised to seek a doctor to get a clearance of participation to engage in a physical activity.
ePARmed-X+ is used to address any medical issue in relation to the response of yes to one or more question of the PAR-Q+ on participating in physical activity.
The Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire for Everyone (PAR-Q+) and electronic Physical Activity Readiness Medical Examination (ePARmed-X+) were created in 2007 to:
1. Reduce barriers to physical activity participation.
2. Help identify people who may require more screening before becoming more physically active.
