You should use the chart and keep it somewhere safe so you can always see it in case you need it, but I will give you this answer for now...
There's a big G (gallons), then in that G there are 4 q's (quarts), in each of those q's there's 2 p's (pints), and in each of the p's there's 2 c's (cups).
I'll leave a link in the comments to that chart if you want to copy it down or print it out.

Kyra observed that 85% of the students at a library liked reading mystery stories. If 30 students at the library did not like re
boyakko [2]
First  calculate that numeric value. It cannot be done immediately without calculations.

if 85% of studends liked mystery that means that 100% - 85% = 15% didnt like.

Those 15% are 30 that were given in text. Now we can calculate this using proportion:

15%        30 students
85%         x students

we use cross multiplication:
15*x = 30*85
x = 30*85/15
x = 170

Answer is 170

A survey study is to be made to estimate the proportion of residents of a certain suburb who favor the construction of a public
lesya [120]

Answer: 601

Step-by-step explanation:

When the prior estimate of population proportion is not given , the formula we apply to find sample size :

n=0.25(\dfrac{z^*}{E})^2

, where z* = critical z-value

E=Margin of error

Given : Margin of error = 0.04

Confidence level = 95%

We know that , according to the z-table , the critical value for 95% confidence interval = z*= 1.960

Then, the required sample size : n=0.25(\dfrac{1.960}{0.04})^2

n=0.25(49)^2

n=0.25(2401)=600.25\approx601

Hence, the required minimum sample size = 601
