Here is a list of features seen in all cells today: DNA, RNA, Proteins, the genetic code, ribosomes, phospholipid membranes, DNA

polymerase for DNA replication, RNA polymerase, ATP-ase (=ATP synthase), reductive Citric Acid Cycle..
From the above list, identify which ones are homologous in all cells today, and thereby candidates for being present in LUCA. One are more are not considered strong candidates for deep homologies in LUCA, but were rather 'invented' in independent lineages after LUCA.

(protein)?
belka [17]

Answer:

Since, the original DNA sequence has not been provided, the mutation can be an insertion/deletion or a frameshift mutation.

  1. Mutated DNA
  2. Frameshift mutation/ insertion or deletion
  3. All the amino acids  changed after the  point mutation

Explanation:

Frameshift Mutation:

  • A frameshift mutation is the alteration in the reading frame of the DNA due to the addition/deletion of one or two nucleotides.
  • This type of mutation moves the mRNA sequence one or two bases forwards or backwards which disrupts the three base codons sequence required for translation into proteins.
  • The CT at the end of the sequence is indicative of a frameshift in the DNA reading frame.
  • Frameshift mutation affect all amino acids in a polypeptide chain as all codons are moved one or two steps forwards or backwards.

Why don't hybrids reproduce
nordsb [41]
An animal category is a gathering of creatures that can breed together that can deliver fruitful prosperity.

Ligers, Mules, They aren't species, they are a mix of 2 animal groups subsequently the name is half and half, they can't recreate in light of the fact that, the two distinct species have two unique quantities of chromosomes. Species can duplicate inside of their own species, since every person inside of the species has the same number of chromosomes.

The crossover's can't imitate in light of the fact that sex cells would never be prepared as their chromosomes would not be right. The half breeds would never  happen in nature, they were made by man, I don't know how they fulfilled this, yet, at any rate, thats why the mixtures can't replicate.
