Answer:

Extra 4 cups to make up 11 cups a day

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we have that Jan obtains 15% of her fluid needs from food, therefore, she gets the remaining 85 % from drinking water

If the recommended daily intake = 2.7 liters  or 91.3 oz

And she already consumes 48 oz of water and  16 oz of milk

Note milk is equivalent to 0.87 water therefore total intake = 48 + 16*0.87= 61.92 oz

She needs to take additional (91.3 - 61.92) = 29.4 oz or 3.68 ≈ 4 cups extra to meet her recommended daily dosage.

A rectangle has a fixed perimeter of 350 but the length and width of the rectangle can vary. Define a function g that determines
Verdich [7]

Answer:

g(L) = 175L - L²

Step-by-step explanation:

350 = 2(length + width)

length + width = 175

Let L be the length,

L + width = 175

width = 175 - L

Area = length × width

g(L) = L(175 - L)

g(L) = 175L - L²

Find the value of each variable, line l is tangent.
loris [4]
This is the concept of geometry, we are required to find the values of angle a,b,c,d;
Given that the triangles are by line intersecting two parallel lines, therefore we can conclude that both triangles are similar;
thus;
angle b=40° ⇒alternate angles
angle b= angle c=40° ⇒base angles of isosceles triangles are equal;
angle d=180-(40+40)=180-80=100°
angle a=360-80=240°

Please help me match each equation to the right graph!
Harman [31]
Desmos comes in handy with these problems. Use the "FOIL" method for each of them and then plug them into the calculator of desmos. This will graph each other them. Note the x and y axis'

Example for (A) y= (x-2)(x+3) foil it:
x^2+3x-2x-6
x^2+x-6
plug that in and match to graph.
