If Rodger is working 20hs and gets $9 per hour you would do this:

1- $9 * 20 = $ 180 per hour
2- check work = $ 180/ 9 = 20hs
3- now that you know your answer is $180 you would say this: Rodger will earn a total of $180 if he works 20hs and gets payed $9 an hour

Find the multiplicative inverse of -2 in mod 7<br>
Elis [28]

Answer:

  1. So something mod 7 is -2
  2. Lets consider what mod does as a commands: If you have 7 and then mod it by 2 ie 7%2 you get 1
  3. Essentially mod is seeing how many times a # goes into the other number and finding the remainder.
  4. In this case we want the remainder of 2: -8%3 =-2
  5. note there is also a mathematical procedural way to solve this.

Steffie makes a scale drawing for a crate with the demensions 15 inches long by 12 inches wide. Her scale factor is 1:3. Brian m
rodikova [14]

Answer:

Dimensions → (5 inches × 4 inches)

Step-by-step explanation:

Scale factor used for the drawing by Steffie = \frac{1}{3}

Since, scale factor = \frac{\text{Dimension of the drawing}}{\text{Actual dimension}}

For Steffie,

Actual length of the crate = \frac{\text{Dimension of the drawing}}{\text{Scale factor}}

                                           = \frac{15}{\frac{1}{3}}

                                           = 45 inches

Actual width of the crate = \frac{12}{\frac{1}{3} }

                                         = 36 inches

Since Brian used the scale factor = \frac{1}{9}

Length of the drawing = Actual length × Scale factor

                                     = 45 × \frac{1}{9}

                                    = 5 inches

Width of the drawing = Actual width × Scale factor

                                   = 36 × \frac{1}{9}

                                   = 4 inches

Therefore, dimensions of the drawing made by Brian are (5 inches × 4 inches)
