Answer:

Total cost of couch and lamp before tax =\$484

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Original price of couch =$550

Sale price of couch = $449

Discount on couch =30%

∴ Discount offered =30\%\ of\ Original\ price=30\%\ of\ 550=0.3\times 550=\$165

Price of couch after discount = \textrm{Original price- Discount}=550-165=\$385

Cost of lamp =$99

Total cost of couch and lamp = \$385+\$99=\$484

An electronics store makes a profit of $72.00 for every television sold and $90.00 for every computer sold. The manager’s target
viktelen [127]

Answer:

<h2>Option A, C and D is the three possible solution.</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Each Television earns $72 and each Computer earns $90.

The manager’s target is to make at least $360.00 a day.

It is <u>not clarified the exact number of Televisions and Computers</u>.

Hence, as per the given condition, 72x + 90y \geq 360\\8x + 10y \geq 40\\4x + 5y \geq 20.

Now we just need to check the given options, whether they satisfy the above equation, or not.

Except the option B, each inequality indicates a value greater than 360.

Hence, option B can not be the possible solution.

Find EG
tresset_1 [31]
EG is 12.2 because the line down the middle is called a bisect which means that it splits the triangle right down the middle making each side equal. so if you do 6.1 x 2 or just add 6.1+6.1 which is the same thing lol, you will have your answer

If you help out can you please explain it so I can understand?
rjkz [21]
Simplify just means put together everything into one big thing. In this case that is just adding. To add a fraction and a decimal we have to convert the fraction into a decimal as well. The decimal form of 1/4 is 0.25, and as such, 3/4 is .75. This means we have -0.75+1.5. Adding a positive to a negative is the same thing as simply subtracting the first number from the second, or 1.5-0.75. This is .75. The answer is C.

Bob's Skate Shop had a profit of $3,563 during the month of August. The company models its profit using p=x^2+10x-12 where x is
Elis [28]
I entered the equation into a graphing calculator. clicked table and then scrolled down to the profit of $3,563. 55 skateboards
you could also try this equation. B=the number attached to x so 10, a=the number attached to x^2(or in other equation x^3 etc) so 1 and c is the number, so -12.
