Answer is (A) Americans felt hoover's reforms had not done enough to help them directly. This is the answer because of the stock market crash, unemployment, soup kitchens, etc. and hoover had gotten blamed for it because he didnt do anything to improve.so, FDR was elected for president and he gave the new deal and helped them, which is a whole different story but was the afterlife of the stock market crash, unemployment etc.
