Answer: Avoidance personality disorder problems involve pervasive feelings of insecurity, inferiority, and a dissatisfaction with life with the person exhibiting restrictive, self-defeating behavior patterns and a tendency to use elaborate defense mechanisms or avoidance responses to get through the day.

Explanation:

It is a pattern of behavior in the face of social situations. This people live the human encounter as a potential threat. Their fragile self-concept does not allow them to take many risks. They are shy and insecure people, who learned to conduct themselves with the same rigid style of coping. The diagnosis of avoidance personality disorder are based on feelings of inferiority and generalized social inhibition pattern that arises from the beginning of adulthood.

The avoidance personality, therefore, feels inadequate, and lives the human encounter with anguish, seriously limiting its possibilities. On the one hand it feels inhibited, clumsy, and on the other, it usually has a great sensitivity to perceive fine details in the complexity of relationships. These people, take refuge in the known, prefer to go unnoticed, become invisible, and opt for a life without too many risks, unpleasant, but painless. When they have no choice but to relate, their psychology is prevention; they try to predict what others will think, and review in their imagination the possible answers before the encounter.
