The last answer is correct, or IV, II, III, I. We can tell because we can see the amount of terms in each expression. In expression IV, there are 4 terms (4*3 + 3*2 - x - 4), expression II has 3 terms (18*2 + 5ab - 6y), expression III has 2 terms (8a - 5), and expression I has 1 term. (6*2)
Hope that helped =)

This prism has a surface area of 172 cm². What would the surface of the prism be if each dimension was tripled? ( Scale factor i
Alex787 [66]

Answer:

1356 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Each dimension gets multiplied by 2, so the new dimensions are

changed from 2x8x7 to 6x24x21

There are 6 faces to the prism,

The area of the front and back are 6x21 = 126.  There are 2 of them for a total area of 126x2 = 252 cm²

The are of the left and right sides are 24x21 = 504.  There are 2 of them for a total area of 504x2 = 1008 cm²

The area of the top and bottom are 6x24 = 144, there are 2 of them for a total area of 144x2 = 288 cm²

The total surface area is 252 + 1008 + 96 = 1356 cm²

Maru [420]

Given BD and AC is a diameter of the circle:

We need to find the following:

1. measure of the arc BA

So,

the measure of the minor arc BA = 44

The measure of the major arc BA = 360 - 44 = 316

2. the measure of the arc ACB = 360 - 44 = 316

3. The arc BCD is a semicircle of the circle

So, the measure of the arc BCD = 180
