The Great Depression lasted from 1929 to 1939 and was the worst economic depression in the history of the United States. Economists and historians point to the stock market crash of October 24, 1929, as the start of the downturn. But the truth is that many things caused the Great Depression, not just one single event

What is the affected variable in an experiment. A:independent. B:dependent. C:control
Semmy [17]

In a controlled experiment, an independent variable (the cause) is systematically manipulated and the dependent variable (the effect) is measured; any extraneous variables are controlled. The researcher can operationalize (i.e. define) the variables being studied so they can be objectivity measured.

A radioisotope has a half-life of 4 days how much of a 20 gram sample of this radioisotope remains at the end of each time perio
ss7ja [257]

Answer:

After 4 days 10 g will left

After 8 days 5 g will left.

Explanation:

Given data:

Half life of isotope = 4 days

Total amount of sample = 20 g

Amount left after each time period = ?

Solution:

The half life of radioactive isotope is 4 days it means after 4 days the amount left will be half of total amount.

20 g/2 = 10 g

The half amount which is left will be consume in next 4 days and remaining amount will be,

10 g/2 = 5 g

After 4 days 10 g will left

After 8 days 5 g will left.

I can't figure this problem out, please help
mario62 [17]
First you have to look at the mole ratios of the reactants and products and that ratio is 2:2:2 or you can reduce that to 1:1:1.  That means an amount of peroxide will produce the same amount of oxygen gas.  If there are 8 mol of peroxide will give 8 mol of oxygen gas
