Answer:

The correct option is B.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given equation is

y=-3x           .... (1)

The slope intercept form of a line is

y=mx+b        .... (2)

Where, m is slope and b is y-intercept.

From (1) and (2), we get

m=-3,b=0

The slope of the line is -3.

Therefore the correct option is B.

The answer to this question would be B, -3. The reason for this is because when you have an equation in slope intercept form, it would be y = mx + b. In this case your b is equal to 0 so you have only y = mx. The variable m represents the slope, which is in this case, equal to -3. Hope this helps. Please rate, leave a thanks, and mark a brainiest answer. (Not necessarily mine). Thanks, it really helps! :D

Jessica is organizing a guided tour of the rain forest. The average profit per person that the touring company makes is given by
Allushta [10]

As a practical equation, this one doesn't make much sense -- why would the profit per person have a term proportional to the number of people?  Let's just go with it.

18x + \dfrac{35}{x}

= \dfrac{18x^2}{x} + \dfrac{35}{x}

= \dfrac{18x^2 + 35}{x}

That's the answer to the first part.

35/x represents a portion of the profit that's 35/x per person, or a constant $35 per tour.

Mr. Jameson will stain the deck in his backyard the deck has an area of 752.4 square feet if the deck is 33 ft long how wide is
Sergio039 [100]
752.4/33 = width
Plug that into your calculator and you'll get the answer.
Justification: legnth times width = area, so area divided by length = width

Graph y = | x | + 5 .
vovikov84 [41]
I cannot see the images, but...

y = | x | + 5

consider the absolute value function. You know that for every value of x, y will be greater than or equal to 5.  this means that the y-intercept will also be the bottom of the curve.

Plug a few values in for an idea of what the graph will look like:
f(-1) = 6    (-1,6)
f(1) = 6     (1, 6)
f(-2) = 7    (-2, 7)
f(2) = 7     (2, 7)

The graph will have a minimum value at (0,5), where two lines will converge. The graph will look like a pointy cone with its point at (0,5), with two lines pointing outward and upward from this point. Confirm that the graph passes through the coordinates provided above!
