If you look up "angles of 7 sided polygon" it would give a result of how many degrees polygons with 7 sides such as this one above would equal to. It's important to know that when finding x angles within.

7-sided polygons = 900 degrees in total

Since all the other angles except x are given, we can add all those up and set it equal to 900. So it would look like this:

139+121+125+126+158+120+x=900

Simply solve for x now.

139+121+125+126+158+120+x=900\\ \\ 789+x=900\\ \\ x=900-789=111

So x = 111 degrees.

Hope this helps!

PLS HELP! which graph is the function 3x + 2y = 8 with the given domain {-2,0,2,4}??
Romashka [77]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

Domain of the function 3x + 2y = 8 are the possible set of x-values represented as {-2, 0, 2, 4}.

To know which graph represents the above given function, find the range values of the function by plugging in each value of x into the equation, to find y.

For x = -2,

3(-2) + 2y = 8

-6 + 2y = 8

2y = 8 + 6

2y = 14

y = 14/2

y = 7

(-2, 7)

For x = 0,

3(0) + 2y = 8

0 + 2y = 8

2y = 8

y = 8/2

y = 4

(0, 4)

For x = 2,

3(2) + 2y = 8

6 + 2y = 8

2y = 8 - 6

2y = 2

y = 2/2

y = 1

(2, 1)

For x = 4,

3(4) + 2y = 8

12 + 2y = 8

2y = 8 - 12

2y = -4

y = -4/2

y = -2

(4, -2)

The graph which shows the following set of coordinates pairs calculated above, ((-2, 7), (0, 4), (2, 1), (4, -2)), is the graph of the function 3x + 2y = 8.

Thus, the graph in option D the shows the following calculated coordinate pairs. Therefore, graph D is the answer.

Write an exponential growth function to model the situation. A population of 422,000 increases by 12% each year.
Naya [18.7K]
This is just like working with money in a bank account
that's earning 12% interest.

If the population is 422,000 today, and
' n ' is the number of years after today,
then

         Population  =  422,000 (1.12)ⁿ .
