Imagine that you take a beam of monochromatic light and start to reduce the power of this beam of light. As you get the power (i

ntensity) lower and lower, what will happen to your observations of the beam of light with regards to observing individual photons?

Answer:

No change in velocity of photons...

Explanation:

The reason speed of light is constant is that is doesn't depend upon intensity of light as produced by the source. This is the main reason why the wave function (psi)* in Einstein's Photoelectric experiment remains unaffected by intensity. The monochromatic beam of light will glow lower and lower as the power decreases and eventually vanishes from visible range as the emission from the power source has been stopped...

The pleural cavity contains the
lesya692 [45]

The pleural cavity contains a little amount of liquid called as "pleural fluid".

<u>Explanation:</u>

The two thin serum producing membrane which gathers back itself resulted in membrane cavity of two layer pleural sac, which surrounds the lungs is termed as "pleura".

This cavity contain small amount of liquid named as pleural fluid, its function is to provide lubrication during respiration when the lungs expand and contract. Most fluid is generated via bulk flow through the parietal circulation and is reabsorbed by the lymphatic system.

Thus pleural fluid is continuously produced and reabsorbed. A few millilitres of pleural fluid is always present inside the intrapleural space in a typical 70 kg human.

A 60w bulb has a higher resistance than a 100w bulb, since the power rating is given assuming that the bulb is connected to a 12
stira [4]

Voltage drop across any components in series is proportional to its resistance. 60W bulb has higher resistance than 100W bulb if both the bulbs were rated for same voltage. So higher voltage drop will be across a 60W bulb.

In parallel voltage drops will be same across both the bulbs but current through it will be inversely proportional to the resistance. So 100W bulb draws more current than 60W bulbs.

60W dissipates more energy than 100W bulbs when in series and 100W bulbs dissipates more energy when in parallel.

A ship maneuvers to within 2.50 x 10^3 m of an islands 1.80 x 10^3 m high mountain peak and fires a projectile at an enemy ship
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

Distance between ship and enemy ship

= 500 + 610

= 3110 m

Range of projectile

R = u² sin2θ / g

= (250x 250 sin 150) / 9.8

= 3188m

The projectile falls within a distance of 3188 - 3110 = 78 m from enemy ship

Height of mountain = 1800 m

We shall find the height of projectile when its horizontal displacement is 2500m

x = 2500 , y = ?

u = 2500 ,

y = x / cos θ - .5 g x² /u²cos² θ

\frac{2500}{.2588} - \frac{.5 \times9.8\times2500\times2500}{250\times250\times.2588}

9660 - 7315 m

= 2345 m

It is within 545 m from mountain peak .
