Answer:

A. the blood pressure in the heart chamber from which blood is flowing is higher than the blood pressure in the chamber to which the blood is supposed to flow.

Explanation:

A heart valve opens or shuts on both sides with varying blood pressure. As the heart muscle contracts and relaxes, the valves open and shut. This lets blood flow into the ventricles and atria at alternate times.

When the left ventricle relaxes, the aortic valve closes and the mitral valve opens. This lets blood flow from the left atrium into the left ventricle.

Alex_Xolod [135]
“Birth is a normal, physiological process. An advantage to a vaginal delivery is that the recovery and the hospital stay after a vaginal birth is typically shorter than after a C-section. For a vaginal birth, the hospital stay is typically 24 to 48 hours. For a C-section, the stay can be up to four days”

Pepsi [2]

Answer:

The complications vary depending on how long the body temperature has been elevated

Explanation:

At extremely high temperatures, the body proteins and cell membranes, especially in the brain, begin to malfunction or be destroyed due to the lack of maintainging homeostasis.

At worst, heat stroke can cause Vital organ damage, or cause them to swell (especially the brain) causing permanent damage. Heat stroke can also cause the breakdown of the cardiac muscle cells and blood vessels.

So, in short, the longer the time spent in the sun or in a hot enviornment with no breaks, the worse the concequences from heat stroke are going to be.

It would depend on the type used.

PED's would boost performance by increasing heart rate and thus increasing the amount of oxygen rich blood.

However, depressants would have the exact opposite effect as they slow down your body.

Either way, both can negatively effect physical performance in the long term.
