The question asks us to write an equation that explains the relationship between  hours and salary.
For each hour the salary keeps increasing by $10.
Therefore for each increase in hour, salary is supposed to increase by 10.
however salary is not directly proportional to number of hours worked. If so then 5th hour worked should be $10 / hour x 5 hours = $ 50
Therefore it is visible that there's a fixed salary amount, with each increase in hour , salary keeps increasing.
If fixed amount is F, then for 5 hours worked,
$ 100 = F + $10 /hour x 5 hours
100 = F + 50
F = $ 50
then salary for 8 hours worked;
 = 50 + 10x8
 = 50 + 80 = $130
Therefore equation for the pattern is
s  =  50 + 10h
s- salary
h - number of hours

Answer:

b = 17

Step-by-step explanation:

For this triangle we have to

a=18.2\\B=62\°\\C=48\°

We want to find the length of b

We know that the sum of the internal angles of a triangle is 180 °

So

A + 62 +48=180\\\\A=180-62-48\\\\A=70\°

Now we use the sine theorem to find the length of b:

\frac{sin(A)}{a}=\frac{sin(B)}{b}=\frac{sin(C)}{c}

Then:

\frac{sin(A)}{a}=\frac{sin(B)}{b}\\\\b=\frac{sin(B)}{\frac{sin(A)}{a}}\\\\b=a*\frac{sin(B)}{sin(A)}\\\\b=(18.2)\frac{sin(62)}{sin(70)}\\\\b=17

Which of the following is the statement of the triangle inequality theorem?
kupik [55]

we know that

<u>The triangle inequality theorem</u> states that the sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle is greater than the length of the third side

so

Let

a,b,c------> the length sides of a triangle

The theorem states that three conditions must be met

<u>case 1)</u>

a+b > c

<u>case 2)</u>

a+c > b

<u>case3)</u>

c+b > a

therefore

<u>the answer is the option</u>

B. The sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle is greater than the length of the third side.

Solve the inequality. |2x + 10| &gt; 26
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

x > 8

x < -16

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + 10 > 26

2x + 10 - 10 > 26 - 10

2x > 16

2x/2 > 16/2

x > 8

2x + 10 < -26

2x + 10 - 10 < - 26 - 10

2x < -36

2x/2 < -36/2

x < -16
