I believe that there is enough information to prove that they are similar. Since the triangle on the right is twice as big as the one on the left, you would divide the numbers by 2. The base of the right triangle is 8, and the left triangle is 4. When you divide 8 by 2, the answer is 4, which shows that they could be similar. Same thing goes for the height and length.
