Answer:

TRUE.

Explanation:

Protozoas are though to be the ancestors of animals. This could simply be agreed on because they exhibit characteristics of animals which ranges from movement to heterotrophy. This single celled eukaryote also has the ability to swim like an animal too.

In its feeding process, it engulfs particle, this happens when two ends of the pseudopodium meets and fuse. Enzymes from the cytoplasm of the cell are secreted into the food vacuole to digest the food.

Is it true that ocean biomes contain a wider biodiversity than land biomes why or why not?
EastWind [94]
The difficulty with this answer, lies in the fact that not all of land and ocean biomes have been completely explored. The ocean is vast, covering approximately 70% of the Earth's surface, with literally vertical miles or kilometers of depth, and with some areas with sparse to no biodiversity. The same can be said about certain areas of large deserts with very low levels of biodversity, void of life, like vast deserts of the Sahara or Gobi. But, the Amazon rain forest contains still unknown species of plant and animal life, just like the ocean. Because of its vastness, intellectually, I would say  the ocean contains more biodiversity, but the answer is scientifically, as of now, yet to be proven one way or the other.

Flying foxes are actually tree-dwelling bats.true or false
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

TRUE!

Explanation:

Little red flying foxes are tree-dwelling bats. In daytime they can be seen roosting in giant camps that may include as many as a million individuals. The bats are indeed efficient fliers, as their name suggests, but time in the trees has also made them excellent climbers.

How does the cell wall contributes towards maintaining homeostasis in the cell
erma4kov [3.2K]

Answer:

The water wants to flow from the higher concentration, which is outside of the cell, to the lower concentration, which is inside of the cell. The cell membrane helps to regulate and slow down the flow of water into the cell. This is yet another way that the cell membrane helps maintain homeostasis.

I hope it helps ❤️
