Hey there

9a+3+2a+10
You have to collect like terms

To simplify you have to add 9a and 2a. Then 3 and 10
9a+2a= 11a
10+3= 13

The answer is 11a+13

hope this helps  <span />

The driver of the bus filled the gas tank with gas by putting in 21 gallon. If the gas gauge was at five-eighths before she fill
vazorg [7]

Answer:

56 gallons

Step-by-step explanation:

When her gas tank is full, she has x gallons in the tank.

when she went to the gas station, she had (5/8) of x gallons of gas in her tank. she added 21 gallons into her tank, then she had x gallons in her tank.

(5/8)x + 21 = x

subtract x and 21 from both sides

(5/8)x - x = -21

factor out an x from the left side

x(5/8 - 1) = -21

simplify the parenthesis

x(-3/8) = -21

multiply both sides by -8/3

x= 56 gallons

Find the hypotenuse of a right triangle that has a 13cm leg and a height of 7cm
12345 [234]

Answer:

14.76 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the pythagorean theorem:

a² + b² = c²

Plug in the side lengths and solve for c:

7² + 13² = c²

49 + 169 = c²

218 = c²

14.76 = c

So, the hypotenuse is approximately 14.76 cm

Help me pleaseeee. due todayyy
zalisa [80]

Answer:

1.5

Step-by-step explanation:

The scale factor can be found by dividing the side length from triangle ABC by the corresponding side length from triangle ABC

so the scale factor would be equal to

12/8 and 9/6

9/6 = 1.5

12/8 =1.5

so we can conclude that the scale factor is 1.5

The volume of this cone is 602.88 cubic inches. What is the radius of this cone?
choli [55]

Answer:

8

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of a cone formula: V = \pi r^{2} \frac{h}{3}

where,

h is the height             <u>9 in  (assuming)</u>

r is the radius              <u>want</u>

v is the volume           <u> 602.88 cubic inches</u>

\pi is                              <u>a = 3.14 </u>

Plug in everything:

602.88 = 3.14r^{2} (\frac{9}{3} )\\602.88 = 3.14r^{2} (3)\\1808.64 = 28.26r^{2}\\\frac{1808.64}{28.26} = \frac{28.26r^{2}}{28.26} \\r^{2} = 64\\r = \sqrt{64} \\r = 8\\or\\r =-8
