Answer:

(6, 4)

Step-by-step explanation:

step 1

we have

The vertex T (8,6)

<em>First transformation</em>

The rule of the dilation is

(x, y) → → (2x, 2y)

so

(8, 6) → → (16, 12)

step 2

<em>Second transformation</em>

The rule of the translation is

(x, y) → → (x - 10, y - 8)

so

(16, 12) → → (16 - 10, 12 - 8) → → (6, 4)

Find the perimeter of the figure.
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

Well I’m not sure what you want but I’ll give you both,

The perimeter is 25 units

The area is 28.5 units ^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Well to find perimeter just count every unit which is what I did and got 25 units.

To find the area jsut split them into two shapes and find the area for both.

Triangle formula: bh/2

Rectangle: Lw

Well we have 3 for base and 3 for height.

3*3=9

9/2=4.5

4.5 is the triangle

We got 3 for width and 8 for length

3*8=24

24 is the rectangle

Add them up

24+4.5= 28.5

28.5 units

A 70 cm long stick is cut into two parts in such a way that the longer part is 20 cm longer than the shorter part. How long is e
Pachacha [2.7K]

Answer:

The longer part is <u>45 cm</u> long and the shorter part is <u>25 cm</u> long.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

A 70 cm long stick is cut into two parts in such a way that the longer part is 20 cm longer than the shorter part.

Now, to find the length of each part of the stick.

Let the shorter part be x.

So, the longer part is x+20.

Total length of the stick = 70 cm.

Now, to get the length of each part we solve an equation:

(x)+(x+20)=70\\\\x+x+20=70\\\\2x+20=70\\\\Subtracting\ both\ sides\ by\ 20\ we\ get:\\\\2x=50\\\\Dividing\ both\ sides\ by\ 2\ we\ get:\\\\x=25.

<em>The length of the shorter part is 25 cm.</em>

Now, substituting the value of x:

x+20\\\\=25+20\\\\=45\ cm.

<em>The length of longer part is 45 cm.</em>

Therefore, the longer part is 45 cm long and the shorter part is 25 cm long.

Give one real life example of each correlation: positive, negative, and no correlation.
mixer [17]
In a positive correlation, both variables increase together. An example of this is a company's profit's relationship with its sales. The greater the sales, the greater the profit.
A negative correlation is where one variable decreases with increase in the other. An example is the time taken to reach somewhere and the speed traveled at. The faster you move, the less the time.
No correlation means the two variables are not related. An example of this is as you get older, it does not mean you will get better grades.
