All of the above.

Water is essential, you can only survive an average of 3 days without it. (some people have survived for longer though.)

Water is important for shipping and trade, because, ships. They go across water. Trade happens. It's hard to fit a lot in airplanes and you have to monitor it's weight slowly. Across land, it's also hard to fit a lot in random trucks driving across what was an ocean. (it would also be much more tedious) It's also one of the cheapest ways.

It is, I guess. There is a high demand for water, and a limited amount as well. It would also be profitable because you can get water easily, or something. (I don't really know for this one but the other two are true so I guess you can't select two so yeah.)

List the cardiovascular and cardiac features unique to the fetus and describe their role in fetal circulation; explain the fate
STatiana [176]

Cardiovascular features unique to the Fetus:

Fetal circulation is characterized by low systemic vascular resistance (SVR) with high systemic blood flow and high pulmonary vascular resistance with low pulmonary blood flow.

What is fetal circulation?

The embryonic circulatory system directs blood that needs oxygen through three shunts, or microscopic tunnels. These shunts are intended to avoid forming organs like the liver and lungs while the fetus is still in the womb.

The foramen ovale, which carries blood from the right atrium of the heart to the left atrium, and the ductus arteriosus, which takes blood from the pulmonary artery to the aorta, are the two shunts that bypass the lungs.

Through the placenta, the mother's blood supplies the fetus with nutrition and oxygen. The enhanced blood divides into three branches as it travels via the umbilical cord to the liver.

Answer:

Polygenic traits

Explanation:

Polygenic traits are traits that are controlled by more than one gene and the physical expression of these genes is significantly influenced by environmental conditions .Characteristics that show continuous variations are controlled by many genes. The genes that control them may be located near each other or even on separate chromosomes. They are often represented as a range of continuous variation because they are not discrete.

This was simulation. What are some variables that this peppered moths simulation does not address?
Hoochie [10]

Answer:

The simulation only shows how a population can change overtime in response to the changes in the environment. During the industrial revolution, one particular phenotype of moths had an advantage over the other and hence, was subjected to natural selection. What this simulation does not tell us is the causality and correlation aspect of the change that occurs in the moths. Correlation does not equal causation, and the simulation does not shed any light on these variables in this case.
