(f - g)(x) = f(x) - g(x)

(f - g)(x) = ( f(x) ) - ( g(x) )

(f - g)(x) = ( 3x+1 ) - ( x^2-6 )

(f - g)(x) = 3x+1 - x^2+6

(f - g)(x) = -x^2 + 3x + (1+6)

(f - g)(x) = -x^2 + 3x + 7

---------------------

Answer: -x^2 + 3x + 7

What is the pattern in the numbers? Rule: add 15, subtract 10 First term:4
DENIUS [597]
Keep adding 5 to the first term as many times as you need. 15-10=5. So if you add 15 then subtract 10, you are really just adding 5 to 4 first =9,14,19, etc
