Answer: True.

Step-by-step explanation:

True, the incenter of a triangle is the center of the only circle that can be inscribed in it.

Because, incenter is the point of intersection of the all the angle bisectors of the three angles of the triangle which divided the each angle into two parts.

Hence, the incenter is the radius of the only largest circle that can be inscribed in it.

HELP HELP !!!! PLEASE I NEED HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM !!!
Vesnalui [34]
This one is best done by elimination:

We need to start 4 meters away, so B is clearly wrong.

We first move towards Mr. Wilson (i.e. distance is decreasing) so A is wrong.

Our speed is faster on the way back, so the two sloped section must have differing slopes, so D is wrong.
(D also doesn't start at 4, it's wrong for two reasons.)

Only C is left.

We can check each part to make sure. First we start at 4m, then move away, then stay still (zero slope) for three seconds, then move back faster (higher slope). All parts check out ok.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1.From the given triangle, ABC, using the proportionality theorem, we get

\frac{FA}{CA}=\frac{EF}{BC}

⇒\frac{8}{40}=\frac{5}{x}

⇒x=25ft

Thus, the height will be 25 feet.

2.
