A^2 + b^2 = c^2
8^2 + 15^2 = 17^2
64 + 225 = 289
289=289
It is a triangle because the numbers match the Pythagorean Theorem.

Graph the inverse circular function by hand, given f(x) = 3sin(2x) ;-pi/4 ≤ ≤pi/4
nasty-shy [4]

Part a)

a) The given function is

f(x) = 3 \sin(2x)

We let

y =  3 \sin(2x)

Interchange x and y.

x=  3 \sin(2y)

Solve for y;

\frac{x}{3}  =  \sin(2y)

y =  \frac{1}{2}  { \sin}^{ - 1}( \frac{x}{3} )

{f}^{ - 1}(x)  =  \frac{1}{2}  { \sin}^{ - 1}( \frac{x}{3} )

Part b) The range of f(x) refers to y-values for which f(x) exists.

The range of f(x) is

-  3 \leqslant y \leqslant 3

This is because the function is within y=-3 and y=3.

c) The range of

{f}^{ - 1} (x)

is

-  \frac{ \pi}{4}  \leqslant y \leqslant  \frac{\pi}{4}

The domain is -3≤x≤3

This is because the domain and range of a function and its inverse swaps.

Part d) The graph is shown in the attachment.

Yes! Just like if I told you three shapes, and that one and two are circles, and then I told you the third was the same as the second, they would all be circles!

James and sarah went out to lunch the price of lunch for both of them was $20 they tip their server 20% of that amount how much
sleet_krkn [62]
20% of $20 is $4
So add that amount to the price of the meal and you have $24
Since they split the total cost evenly, the price for each is 24 ÷ 2
= <u>$12</u>

What is the equation<br>
slava [35]

Answer:

B. (x+1)^2+(y-2)^2=9

Step-by-step explanation:

The given circle is centered at  (-1,2) and has radius 3 units.

The equation is given by

(x-a)^2+(y-b)^2=r^2

where (a,b) is the center and r is the radius.

We substitute the values to obtain;

(x--1)^2+(y-2)^2=3^2

(x+1)^2+(y-2)^2=9
