We already know that 1 mile = 5280 foot
Also we know that 1 hour = (60 * 60) seconds
                                          = 3600 seconds
Then
24 miles per hour = (24 * 5280)/3600
                             = 126720/3600
                             = 35.2 feet/sec
So 24 miles/hour is equal to 35.2 feet per second. The only important thing is to know the conversions correctly. Then the problem becomes easy to solve. I hope the conversions and the procedure for solving the question is clear to you and in future you will be able to do such problems on your own without requiring any help.

Answer:

x =4

Step-by-step explanation:

sum of angles in a triangle = 180

(equilateral triangle) all sides are equal

180 ÷ 3 = 60

10x+20 =60

10x = 60 - 20

10x = 40

10x ÷10 = 40÷ 10

x = 4

The base of each triangle measures 2 centimeters and the perimeter of each triangle is 10 centimeters. What is the approximate t
tia_tia [17]
Since the triangles make up a spinner, the triangles are isosceles.
The base is 2 cm and the perimeter is 10 cm.
The measure of the two legs can be determined from
2 + 2x = 10
Where is the length of the leg
Solving for x
x = 4
The area an isosceles is calculated using
A =  \frac{1}{2}  b^{2}   \sqrt{ \frac{ b^{2} }{ x^{2} }- \frac{1}{4}  }
where b is the length of the base
Substitute the values and multiply with the number of triangles in the spinner
