Find the measure of each angle.
Galina-37 [17]

<u>Given</u>:

Given that the isosceles trapezoid JKLM.

The measure of ∠K is 118°

We need to determine the measure of each angle.

<u>Measure of ∠L:</u>

By the property of isosceles trapezoid, we have;

\angle K+\angle L=180^{\circ}

118^{\circ}+\angle L=180^{\circ}

           \angle L=62^{\circ}

Thus, the measure of ∠L is 62°

<u>Measure of ∠M:</u>

By the property of isosceles trapezoid, we have;

\angle L \cong \angle M

Substituting the value, we get;

62^{\circ}=\angle M

Thus, the measure of ∠M is 62°

<u>Measure of ∠J:</u>

By the property of isosceles trapezoid, we have;

\angle J \cong \angle K

Substituting the value, we get;

\angle J =118^{\circ}

Thus, the measure of ∠J is 118°

Hence, the measures of each angles of the isosceles trapezoid are ∠K = 118°, ∠L = 62°, ∠M = 62° and ∠J = 118°

Triangle xyz is similar to triangle xvw. write the congruence statements that must be true.
Lunna [17]

Answer:

∠ Y = ∠ V

∠ Z = ∠ W

\frac{XY}{XV} =\frac{YZ}{VW} =\frac{XZ}{XW}

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that Δ XYZ is similar to Δ XVW.

Since corresponding angles of similar triangles are equal,

∠ X = ∠ X

∠ Y = ∠ V

∠ Z = ∠ W

Also, since corresponding sides of similar triangles are in proportionate,

\frac{XY}{XV} =\frac{YZ}{VW} =\frac{XZ}{XW}

Which ordered pairs are in the solution set of the system of linear inequalities? y &gt; x y &lt; x + 1 (5, –2), (3, 1), (–4, 2)
steposvetlana [31]

To check which ordered pair (point) is in the solution set of the system of given linear inequalities y>x, y<x+1; we just need to plug given points into both inequalities and check if that point satisfies both inequalities or not. If any point satisfies both inequalities then that point will be in solution.

I will show you calculation for (5,-2)

plug into y>x

-2>5

which is clearly false.

plug into y<x+1

-2<5+1

or -2<6

which is also false.

hence (5,-2) is not in the solution.

Same way if you test all the given points then you will find that none of the given points are satisfying both inequalities.

Hence answer will be "No Solution from given choices".
