yes! participation is essential in a Democracy because it strengthen your power. If participation is implemented then all can know the needs of the country. There will be proper use of means and technology. People can raise their hands asking for their rights and duties. The development of country will run smoothly and in fruitful manner. All the natural resources can also be in used. Participationa also helps to know the need of infrastructure in a particular place which directly develops the country. Hence, participation is essential in a democracy.
