Mathematics

Jenna has more.
If Max gives 16 cards to Jenna, then he has 16 cards less. 20-16=4... Max has only 4 cards left.

Similarly, because Jenna gains 16 cards, 50+16=66. Thus Jenna has 66 cards.

If Max has 4 cards, and Jenna has 66, Jenna clearly has way more.

Hope that helps :))<span />

Since Jenna started off with 50 cards and max only had 20 then he gave Jenna 176 more cards to Jenna’s . Jenna obviously has more 5+16=66

Using the side-splitter theorem, Daniel wrote a proportion for the segments formed by line segment DE. What is EC?
AfilCa [17]
We manipulate the given equation in order to solve for EC. We do this by cross multiplying.
The resulting equation will be:
EC = (4 x 3)/5
EC = 12/5 = 2.4

Additionally, the side-splitter theorem works for this problem since DE and AC are parallel to each other, therefore splitting the remaining two sides into proportional segments.

Malcolm has 1/2 gallon of soup. He pours the same amount of soup into 8 bowls. Which equation represents the fractional part of
zubka84 [21]
8n = 1/2Gallon
To be more realistic, the answer would be 8 ounces in each bowl, because 128ounces are in a Gallon, and half of that is 64. 64 divided by 8(amount of bowls) is 8.
