Jenna has more.
If Max gives 16 cards to Jenna, then he has 16 cards less. 20-16=4... Max has only 4 cards left.

Similarly, because Jenna gains 16 cards, 50+16=66. Thus Jenna has 66 cards.

If Max has 4 cards, and Jenna has 66, Jenna clearly has way more.

Hope that helps :))<span />

Since Jenna started off with 50 cards and max only had 20 then he gave Jenna 176 more cards to Jenna’s . Jenna obviously has more 5+16=66

Company A has 400 employees and Company B has 500 employees. Among these employees, there are 50 married couples, each consistin
abruzzese [7]

Answer:0,0025

Step-by-step explanation:

P(select a married couple) = P(person selected from Company A is one of the 50 with spouse at Company B) x P(person selected from Company B spouse of person already selected from Company A)

Now you can substitute the respective probabilities .

= (50/400) x (1/500)

= 0,0025

In 3 hours a car traveled 180 kilometers. At the same average rate, how many kilometers can the car travel in 5 hours?
arlik [135]

Answer: 5 hours = 300 Kilometers

Step-by-step explanation: If a car can travel 180 kilometers in three hours then in one and a half hour that car can travel 90 kilometers. If you divide 90 by 3 you will find out that in a half hour that car can travel 30 kilometers. So add 180+90+30=300 that is the same as adding three hours+one and a half+thirty minute=five hours

Hope This Helps!!!!!

Suppose you want to place a shelf that is 30 1/3 inches long in the center of a wall that is 45 3/4 inches wide. About how fare
mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer:

7.71 inches far from each edge of the wall you should place the shelf.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

\textrm{size of a shelf}=30\frac{1}{3} =\frac{91}{3}=30.33\ inches\\\textrm{size of a wall}=45\frac{3}{4} =\frac{183}{4}=45.75\ inches\\

Let,

AB = distance between the edges or distance of wall.

ED = size of the shelf.

C is the centre of the wall.

To Find:

Distance from the edge of the wall to the shelf, when the shell is placed at the center of the wall.

AE = DB = ?

Solution:

As we need to place the shelf exactly in the center.

First we will calculate the  distance from the center of the wall to the edge.

So the distance from the centre of the wall to the edge will be exactly half of the size of the wall.

CB = \frac{1}{2}\times AB\\ =\frac{1}{2}\times 45.75\\\therefore CB=22.875\ inches

now the distance from the centre to the end of the shelf will be exactly half of the size of the shelf.

CE = \frac{1}{2}\times DE\\ =\frac{1}{2}\times 30.33\\\therefore CB=15.165\ inches

Now we want to calculate the distance from the edge of the wall to the shelf,that is the distance from the end of the shelf to the edge of the wall.

AE=BD= BC-CD\\=22.875-15.165\\=7.71\ inches\\\therefore AE = BD = 7.71\ inches

Therefore, 7.71 inches far from each edge of the wall you should place the shelf.
