The meat industry has undergone a revolution when mobile refrigeration technologies have emerged.

Meat is a perishable organic product, so that prior to the invention of refrigeration systems, it was not possible to transport the product for long distances and commercialization was necessarily regionalized.

However, the current technologies and freezing and conservation allow the meat to be exported even to other continents.

For example, Brazil is the largest meat exporter to Asia.
