If you want to multiply fractions just multiply across for example 1/2 times 1/2
1x1=1
2x2= 4
The answer would be 1/4
For division it’s very similar
For example 1/1 divided by 1/2
Switch the sign divide by x
1/1 x 1/2
Then switch the second numbers numerator and denominator
1/1 x 2/1
=2/1

Help me please- Write a system of equations to describe the situation below, solve using elimination, and fill in the blanks.
Leni [432]

Answer:

Each small ice sculpture costs $79 and each large one costs $134

Step-by-step explanation:

3 small + 4 large = $773

2 small + 4 large = $694

3 - 2 = 1

$773 - $694 = $79

So one small = $79

$79 x 3 = $237

$773 - $237 = $536

$536 / 4 = $134

So one large = $134

Name the angle and the intercepted arc.
Galina-37 [17]

Answer:

The angle formed is ∠LMK and the intercepted arc is LK.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given figure shows a circle of radius M. L and K are other points on the circle.

The distance from the center of the circle to a point on the circle is called radius.

LM and MK are the radius of the circle or

LM = MK

The angle formed is ∠LMK.

The intercepted arc is LK.

What is the equation for a line with a slope of -1/3 and a y-intercept of -5?
garri49 [273]

Answer:

y=-1/3x-5

Step-by-step explanation:

y=mx+b is equation of line where m is slope and b is y-intercept.

From question statement, we observe that

m= -1/3   ,  b= -5

put above values in equation of line, we get

y= -1/3x-5.

identify a two-digit dividend that will result in a quotient with a remainder 1 when the divisor is 4
Afina-wow [57]
17, 21, 25, etc. because when you divided 4 by any of these numbers you will get your answer with a remainder of 1. For example, 17/4 is 4 R.1 because 4 times 4 is 16, then you will have one left over. (At my school you always go to a decimal not a remainder)
