September 11, 2001, also known as 9/11 was a tragic day in the United States. It was when an awful terrorist attack happened, led by the Islamic extremest group, Al Qaeda. The leader of them all was a man named Osama Bin Laden, who, after the attacks, hid until a group of US soldiers found and killed him. On 9/11, planes crashed into the two Twin Towers in New York, causing thousands of deaths. Another hijacked plane headed towards the Pentagon, crashing into the first floor and killing many including those inside the plane. One more plane crashed in field, its intentions still unknown as everyone inside died. All passengers on all three planes were terrorists on suicide missions. The motto of that day is "Never forget."

Peer pressure

What are peer pressure and its effects?

When you make a decision because you want to feel liked and respected by your friends, this is known as peer pressure or peer influence.

Peer pressure can be advantageous. For instance, your child might be persuaded to try new things, be more assertive, or become more interested in school.

However, it can also be harmful. Teenagers sometimes decide to attempt activities they wouldn't otherwise be interested in, like smoking or acting in an antisocial manner.

Teenagers who are subjected to peer pressure may:

 • Select the same hairstyle, jewelry, or clothes as their friends,
 • Listen to the same music or watch the same TV shows as their friends
 • Break rules or taking risks
 • Work harder at school or less hard
 • Date or engage in sexual activity
 • Smoke, use alcohol or other drugs

CRITICAL THINKING
grin007 [14]

Answer:

Explanation:

Well, what makes the characteristics of a scientific theory, to a cell theory, is this.

The cell theory basically states that all biological organisms are composed of basic cells; and cells are the unit of life, and all life comes from a preexisting life, and so forth.

What relates the characteristics of a scientific theory, to a cell theory, is that they both describe science as having 3-4 different aims: the universalism, which is a quest for general laws, organizations, etc, etc. Then there's skepticism, which is the questioning and looking for the counter explanations, and finally, the communalism, which is the basic quest to develop a community.

Hope this helped, Bella.
