Y = mx + c

gradient = -6-9/-8-4
= -15/-12
= 1.2

when x = 4 and y = 9,
9 = 1.2(4) + c
c = 9 - 4.8
= 4.2

The slope of the line is y = 1.2x + 4.2 .

Find the volume of the figure.
jeka57 [31]

Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

1283.3

Discussion:

Volume of figure =

volume of cone + volume of cylinder =

(1/3) Pi r^2 h       + Pi r^2 h                    =

(1/3) Pi (7)^2* 7   + Pi (7)^2 * 6  =

Pi * 7^2 (  (1/3) *7 + 6) =                      => using PI is approx 22/7

(22/7) * 7^2 ( 7/3 + 6) =

(22/7)* 49 (25/3) = 1283.3

Thank you,

−9⋅(5j+k) do distrubutibr property
Serjik [45]

Answer:

−9⋅(5j+k) =  -45j -9k.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given  : −9⋅(5j+k)

To find : distributive property.

Solution : −9⋅(5j+k)

By distributive property a( b +c ) = a*b + a*c.

Then  −9⋅(5j+k) =  -9 *5j + (-9 *k)

−9⋅(5j+k) =  -45j -9k.

Therefore, −9⋅(5j+k) =  -45j -9k.

During a basketball practice, Mai attempted 49 free throws and was on 25% of them. How many successful free throws did she make?
Brrunno [24]

Mai made 12 successful free throws.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Free throws made by Mai = 49 free throw

Successful throws = 25%

Number of successful throws = 25% of free throws

Number of successful throws = \frac{25}{100}*49

Number of successful throws = \frac{1225}{100} = 12.25

Rounding off to nearest whole number;

Number of successful throws = 12

Mai made 12 successful free throws.

Find the measure of the missing angles.
62°
b\co
tiny-mole [99]

The measures of angles B and C are 118° and 62°, respectively.

What are the measures of two missing angles generated by the intersection of two lines?

A system of three angles is generated by two lines intersecting each other. In accordance with Euclidean geometry, angle C is opposite to the angle with measure 62° and angle B is supplementary to the same angle.

When two angles are opposite, then both have the same measure, and when two angles are supplementary, then the sum of their measures equals 180°. Therefore, the measures of angles B and C are 118° and 62°, respectively.
