The relative frequency is the frequency of the item divided by the total number of all items. The total number of all items here is: 50 + 40 + 90 +20 = 200.

Burgers =  \frac{50}{200} = 25%
Pasta =  \frac{40}{200} = 20%
Pizza =  \frac{90}{200} = 45%
Salad =  \frac{20}{200} = 10%

Hope this helps!

x = -16 or x = 5

Solution:

Given polynomial:

x^{2}+11 x-80=0

To find the roots of the polynomial.

Split the middle term 11x.

11x = 16x - 5x

x^{2}+11 x-80=0

x^{2}+16x-5x-80=0

(x^{2}+16x)+(-5x-80)=0

Take the x common in first 2 terms an -5 common in next 2 terms.

x(x+16)-5(x+16)=0

Take (x + 16) common in both terms.

(x+16)(x-5)=0

x + 16 = 0  or  x - 5 = 0

x = -16       or   x = 5

Hence x = -16 or x = 5.

<h3>What is a proposition?</h3>

A proposition is a declarative statement that makes a claim that is either true or false.

Every proposition requires a solution or proof to find it true or not true.

Propositions need to be considered and debated before acceptance or rejection.

Thus, <u>Option D.</u> No, because the statement does not make a claim; it is a question.
