COCHLEA

This is a portion in the inner ear that receives sound in the form of vibrations which cause the cilia in it to move. The stereocili then convert these vibrations into nerve impluse which are taken up by the brain to be interpreted. Two of the three fluid sections are canals and the third is a sensitive organ called Organ of corti which can detect pressure and impulse travelling to the auditory nerve.

What does a cladogram tell us?
Anton [14]
A cladogram (from Greek clados "branch" and gramma "character") is a diagram used in cladistics to show relations among organisms. ... These branching off points represent a hypothetical ancestor (not an actual entity) which can be inferred to exhibit the traits shared among the terminal taxa above it.

What is the principle of common decent? Use your OWN words plz?? <3
Natali5045456 [20]

Answer:

The principle of common descent states that all organisms in the world exist because of a common ancestor which gave rise to all the life seen on Earth. The organisms which are more closer to one another might have a common ancestor in the near past as compared to other organisms. The organisms which share distant common ancestors have less common characteristics. This principle has led us to form the basis for the formation of evolutionary biology.
