Answer:

Total balance in Credit Card = $ 1758.64

Interest = 12.75 % APR

So, Amount paid as interest before \frac{12}{20}  = 1758.64 × \frac{12.75}{100}

= \frac{22422.66}{100}

= $224.227 (approx)

If i pay after due date , then total amount in my credit card = $ 1758.64 + $ 35=$1793.64

Then Amount paid as interest = 1793.64 \times\frac{12.75}{100}

<em>                = </em>22868.91 ÷ 100

               = 228. 69 (Approx)

If Interest is charged monthly then interest charged

   =  \frac{224.23}{12}

= $ 18.68(approx) →→Monthly

Option B→→ $ 224.23  →→Yearly

Write an equation for a parabola with a focus of (1,-2) and a directrix of y=6
FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

y = - \frac{1}{16}(x - 1)² + 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Any point (x, y) on the parabola is equidistant from the focus and the directrix.

Using the distance formula

\sqrt{(x-1)^2+(y+2)^2^} = | y - 6 |

Square both sides

(x - 1)² + (y + 2)² = (y - 6)² ( expand the factors in y )

(x - 1)² + y² + 4y + 4 = y² - 12y + 36 ( subtract y² - 12y from both sides )

(x - 1)² + 16y + 4 = 36 ( subtract 4 from both sides )

(x - 1)² + 16y = 32 ← subtract (x - 1)² from both sides )

16y = - (x - 1)² + 32 ( divide all terms by 16 )

y = - \frac{1}{16} (x - 1)² + 2

Pls helpppppp for brainly
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

\frac{6}{8} or \frac{3}{4}

Step-by-step explanation:

Convert the mixed numbers into improper fractions.

2\frac{3}{8}-1\frac{5}{8}=\frac{19}{8}-\frac{13}{8}

Since the two fractions have the same denominator, just subtract the numerators.

\frac{19}{8}-\frac{13}{8}=\frac{6}{8}

If required, rewrite the fraction in simplest form.

\frac{6}{8}=\frac{3}{4}
