Answer: B) He wants to be cheered up.

Explanation: The given question is referring to "Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare, when Juliet dies, Peter, who was the Capulet's servant, asks the musicians to play "Heart's Ease" which means that he wants to hear a happy melody, in order to be cheered up,  but nevertheless the musicians refuse to play something happy. So the correct answer is the corresponding to optioon B.

What are the two parts of a spanish reflexive verb
labwork [276]

Answer:

Reflexive verbs are formed with two main parts. The main verb is who is performing the action, and the reflexive pronoun is who the action is directed at. In the case of reflexive verbs, these will both refer to the same person. As you can see “levantar” is a regular -ar verb.

Use the idiom "lift the spirits" in a sentence. *
Alchen [17]

One good way of making use of an idiom in a sentence is:

  • The talk given to use by the principal did a lot to lift the spirits of the students.

The idiomatic phrase "lift the spirits" shows that a person who was previously sad or depressed had that mood changed and is now much happier than before.

With this in mind, we can see that this shows that words, encouragements, rewards, etc can help to lift the spirit of a person in any situation.
