A food chain is a linear sequence of transfer of food and energy when one organism is consumed by another organism. Forest fire is a natural disaster which is likely to disturb the ecosystem. It is a kind of limiting factor which will reduce the growth, abundance and distribution of the population of living species.

If the grasses are burned than mice will not receive food, then the mice population will have to look for new area where grasses grow.

Also the cat will not receive food as mice population will migrate to new habitat. Lastly, the coyout population has to move to new place where it can find cat as food.
