A= \frac{1}{2} h (x+y)

we have to solve for x , solving for x means , we have to isolate x one one side , by shifting all other variables to other side

So

A= \frac{1}{2} h (x+y)

Multiply both sides by 2

2A = h(x+y)

Divide both sides by h

2A/h = x+y

Subtract y from both sides

\frac{2A}{h}  -y =x

or

x=\frac{2A}{h}  -y

How to find the volume of each figure
nignag [31]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Cube =  Height x Width x Depth

Cylinder = Area of the bottom x Height (Area of the bottom = \pi r^{2} )

Cone = \frac{1}{3} Area of the bottom x Height (Area of the bottom = \pi r^{2} )

Pyramid = Base Area x Pyramid height

Right rectangular pyramid = Base length x Base width x Pyramid height

Sphere = \frac{4}{3}\pi r^{3} (r is the radius of the sphere)

Find the surface area of the cylinder to the nearest tenth of a square u it
Rudik [331]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Surface area of a cylinder = 2 x 3.14 x rh + 2 x 3.14 x r^2

S.A. = (2 x 3.14 x 3 x 18.2) + (2 x 3.14 x 3^2)

S.A. = 399.4cm^2

Write a rule for the linear function in the table
Flauer [41]
We can use slope , point formula
y-y1=m(x-x1)
m is  a slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)=(-10-(-7))/(2-1)=-3
for example, we take the point (1, -7)
y-(-7)=-3(x-1)
y+7=-3x+3
y=-3x-4
