What is the sum of 3/7, 4/5, and 2/3 round to two decimal places?
Anna11 [10]

Answer:

1.90

Step-by-step explanation:

You would want to use a calculator since you need decimal places.

Once you type it into the calculator you should get 1.8952380952.

Since you're trying to simplify to the second decimal place, look at the third number after the decimal.

The 5 rounds up the 9 to a ten, which is represented by the 0.

That then turns the 8 into a nine.

For argument's sake let's say that the odds of seeing a black cat are 25% every day. You've not seen one for the past three days
vovikov84 [41]

Answer:

The chance is 100 % since we have not seen it in the past three days.

Step-by-step explanation:

The odds of seeing a black cat are 25% every day.

It also means that the possibility of seeing a black cat is once in 4 days, since 25%

Given, we have not seen one black cat in 3 days.

The chance of seeing a black cat on the 4th day = ?

= 100 % since we have not seen it in the past three days.

Write a function to represent the set of ordered pairs. {(2, 6), (3, 21), (4, 42), (5, 69)} a) f(x) = 3x b) f(x) = x + 4 c) f(x)
Ugo [173]

We are given order pairs : (2, 6), (3, 21), (4, 42), (5, 69)

The correct option is D) f(x) = 3x^2 - 6.

If we plug x=2 we get

f(2) = 3(2)^2 - 6 = 3(4) -6 = 12-6 =6. Represents (2,6)

If we plug x=3 we get

f(3) = 3(3)^2 - 6 = 3(9) -6 = 27-6 =21 Represents (4,21)

If we plug x=4 we get

f(4) = 3(4)^2 - 6 = 3(16) -6 = 48-6 =42. Represents (4,42)

If we plug x=5 we get

f(5) = 3(5)^2 - 6 = 3(25) -6 = 75-6 =69. Represents (5,69)

Therefore, D ) f(x) = 3x^2 - 6 is our correct option.

Find the volume of the prism at right all angles are right angles.....
dexar [7]
Lets divide this prism into two parts. The bottom part has dimensions of 15mm length x 5mm width x 7mm height.

The bottom is 15x5x7 = 525 cubic mm.

The top part has dimensions of 9mm length (I got this by subtracting the 3mm on each side that the top is shorter than the bottom.. 15-3x2) x 5mm width x 3mm height.

The top is 9x5x3 = 135 cubic mm.

Added together ... 525 + 135 = 660 cubic mm = the total area of the prism.

Hope this helps
