Discussion:

There are (5-2)*180 = 3 * 180 = 540 degrees in the pentagon. Hence by adding up the angles

90 + 90 + 145 + 131 + x = 540    =>        add up the angles

456                           + x  =540    =>

x =  84


As x + y = 180, y = 180 -x = 180 - 84  = 96 degrees
