Beginning with a low-power objective before switching to high power ultimately protects the slide and the microscope from damage.

Also, it makes it easier to find the specimen on the slide.

Using the graphs below, determine which water drop rate leads to the highest seed growth.
expeople1 [14]

Answer:

C. 50 drops/hr

Explanation:

As we can see in the description of the graph above, 50 drops/hr was the rate of water fall that was most successful in plant growth. This is because with this rate, the seeds germinated more quickly, the seedlings showed a strong and fast vegetative growth, besides that at the end of 5 days, it was observed that germination of almost 100% of the seeds occurred. These facts cannot be observed with the other waterfall rates, so the correct answer is 50 drops/hr.

When your cells use fat for energy, the fatty acids are broken up into molecules of acetyl COA. Predict how many ATP can be made
IgorC [24]

Answer:

12 molecules of ATP can be made from one molecule of acetyl CoA.

Explanation:

If one molecule of acetyl CoA enter TCA cycle then it result in the formation of 3 molecules of NADH,1 molecule of FADH2 and 1 molecule of GTP that is equivalent to 1 molecule of ATP.

Now the reducing equivalent such as NADH and FADH2 enters electron transport chain and get oxidized to regenerate NAD+ and FAD along with ATP. 1 molecule of NADH produces 3 molecules of ATP whereas 1 molecule of FADH2 produces 2 molecules of ATP.

So that net gain of ATP is given below

3 molecules of NADH = 9 molecules of ATP

1 molecule of FADH2 =2 molecules of ATP

1 molecule of GTP = 1 molecule of ATP

As a result total 12 molecules of ATP is by the oxidation of 1 Acetyl CoA by TCA cycle .

Which of the following statements is a correct explanation for the observation that all offspring exhibit a phenotype for a part
bearhunter [10]

Answer:

D) Neither of the parental genes is dominate over the other.

Explanation:

Since the trait on the offspring is a mixture from both parent, it means that neither of the alleles from both parents is completely dominant over the other. Instead, each of the alleles contributes equally to the trait of the offspring.

This effectively explains the fact that each trait exhibited by offspring is a blend of the traits from the two parents.

The correct option is D.
